Valentine’s Holiday Party February 17th at Comfort Suites, NO NOON MEETING. No Cost to Rotarians, spouses cost will be $11.50 as Rotarians are charged for meals each week. Write check directly to Rotary. This will not be put on your statements. Social 6pm, dinner at 6:30pm, working on light entertainment.
Rotary’s Character Education calendar sales (432 were sold) out of the 500, profit $4,024.00 which is $500 short of what was budgeted.
Sandy Swart spoke about the Beer & Wine tasting event (heavy hor’dourves will be served) on March 13, 6:30-9:30pm at Comfort Suites. Complimentary glasses Tickets are available from all Rotarians, posters will be out soon. Shirley has more tickets if you need more.
Antique/Craft Show September 4 & 5, 2010 at Comfort Suites. This is a fundraiser with the CPA. More information to follow.
District Conference is May 20-22.
Haiti Relief-letter was read form RI. We will get involved but we are waiting and will probably do something in the future.
Presidential Citation has several requirements, one of which we need a gain of one member before March 31st.
President Swartz thanked Gary Myers for his work on the website.
Requests from Jefferson County Literacy Council and Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation Request were both put on hold until we see how we are financially.
